Palisade Trail Conditions

JULY 2024

PLEASE RESPECT ALL TRAILS AND DO NOT RIDE UNTIL THEY DRY AFTER A RAIN!

Palisade Rim Trail - The upper loops are in fair shape, if you take the Palisade Plunge cut off the lower trail through the canyon has some flash flood damage in the creek beds.

Palisade Plunge Trail - The Palisade Plunge is open from Mesa Top to Palisade. The section to Shirttail Point has a couple of muddy sections but the flowers are out and it is a cool place to ride. Thank you to the BLM Fire crews that worked on the Otto's Wall to Lands End. The trail is a little overgrown from the Lands End road crossing for a couple of miles. The Emergency bailout is well marked if you're running low on water or are getting tired. The Last 10 miles of the trail is very narrow and exposed with possible high heat in the afternoon. Some spots are more off-camber than normal. Please use caution and carry enough water. The Palisade Plunge is not an easy trail - it is a great adventure for advanced riders used to riding in hot desert terrain.

Deep Creek trail to the Plunge to Powderhorn - The Deep Creek trail from the Palisade Plunge intersection to the 105 road has some mud as you ride around Anderson Reservoirs.

County Line and Skyway trails - All trails are in great shape.

West Bench Trail - Nice to Chair 1 at Powderhorn. From the top of Lift 1 to the West End the trail is slightly overgrown.
